In 2009, Miss Sandie’s School went SOLAR!

 

Staying true to our commitment to reducing our impact on the environment and conservation, a large series of solar panels were installed on the roof. We use a notable amount of power keeping the children warm during the winter and cool during the summer.

 

These new solar panels offset 99% of our power!!!

 

We extend a special thanks to a few Miss Sandie’s families who were instrumental in getting this project completed. These families work for our solar provider, SolarCraft, a local company that develops and installs commercial and residential solar electric and pool heating systems.
