Kent Grady, Head of School

 

Throughout his over 41-years in education, leadership and administration, Kent’s passion for child development and education has been a constant. Kent began his career teaching kindergarten, high school mathematics (and windsurfing), and enjoyed 10 years as a lecturer for San Francisco State University. For over a decade, he was an Executive Director for an international wilderness education program for teenagers.

 

Having grown up in San Francisco and Marin, Kent and his wife, Tory are Bay Area natives, now living in the small town of Nicasio (just west of Novato). They have two children, both graduates of Miss Sandie's School.

 

Kent received his bachelor’s degree from U.C. Santa Barbara.
